The Dharma Circle
I am honored to share a wonderful picture taken at my SagesMassage Studio last year while celebrating a great teacher and dear person’s Birthday for the first time ever in his life~Lama Phurbu Tashi Rinpoche.
He took time to sit with us each week teaching us compassion and listening to our questions and patiently answering with honest love and respect from years of training and service. He spends his life giving to the greater good of this human existence. He left his native home to come West to spread the Dharma teachings to those who would accept it with a vision of spreading one seed at a time. As each seed he has planted, grows and affects in turn those at each arms length, they in turn spread out their own reach. In this way, we all are responsible for passing on the seed and nurturing the dream. If we are to recluse and keep for ourselves the learned knowledge, what a loss this world will feel. As this is each of our responsibilities as we grow and learn the right Way, we must share and in that sharing grow ourselves transforming into teachers, solidifying what we learned and creating that reality as we pass it on to the next ones and so we can become students again, and so on… perpetuating the Dharma Circle
Lovely post, Jen. Thanks for sharing this. It is wonderful to be part of a sangha here in Annapolis and to have Lama as our teacher.
